I am Chris Lane, Property/Real Estate Manager. I have managed nearly 500 properties needing tenant evictions since 2008.

I have been in real estate since 1986 and was licensed as a sales agent in 1987 (currently inactive license). I focused more on  construction and property management as they were more important for buying, renting and selling properties than strictly sales.

 I first learned the eviction process during the mortgage crisis (circa 2007-2009) when I was buying and selling homes in foreclosures with other investors. Many of the properties had squatters and I had to learn the details of the eviction process. Since then, I have managed hundreds of properties and evictions throughout Florida. 

Property manager issues including connecting and negotiating with service techs to fix plumbing, appliance, AC etc. Rent collection and lease management. If a tenant is not paying rent or is breaching other lease terms, we will need to give notices and if not corrected, file a complaint with the county clerk. 

Most property evictions can be closed by the property owner. However, referrals to affordable eviction attorneys are available for cases requiring representation.
